Channon Tavern Planting Tour and Maintenance

SAT 10 Oct, The Channon Tavern, The Channon

As part of Richmond Landcare’s Nature Based Solutions project and the Channon Riverbank Renewal Project, Richmond Landcare Inc planted an area of the riverbank below the Channon Tavern along Terania Creek. The site is doing exceptionally well so we would like to invite people to come for a tour.
This event is for anyone interested in restoring riverbanks and observing how quickly this can happen.
To register please contact Local Landcare Coordinator Lydia Blocksidge for further details landcare.support@richmondlandcare.org or 0477410820
This event is being held on the lands of the Widjabul Wia-bal people of the Bundjalung Nation. The lands and waterways of the Richmond Catchment are the unceded territories of Bundjalung peoples. The Richmond Riverkeeper Association pays respects to the Ancestors, who cared for Country since time began, and to all communities and Custodians, who continue to speak and care for their Country and Water.

Richmond Landcare’s NBS project is funded by the Australian Government. The Northern Rivers Watershed Initiative is funded through a $5 million grant from the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.
