Calling all young artists! Students across the Kyogle Local Government Area are invited to explore the theme ‘My River Story’ and share what our local waterways mean to them through art.
Capture a favourite place, a special memory, the plants and animals that call our rivers home, or your hopes for the river’s future. Any 2D artwork at either A4 or A3 size can be entered with winning and finalist artworks to be exhibited at The Roxette (downstairs at the Roxy Gallery) during RiverFest 2026.
Entries close Friday 25 September. Entry forms are available through local schools, or email roxygallery@kyogle.nsw.gov.au for more information.

Our Partners
Richmond RiverFest has been made possible by the incredible collaboration of numerous organisations, demonstrating a strong, united commitment to restoring the health of the Richmond River catchment. The Richmond Riverkeeper is proud to partner with the following organisations: Ballina Shire Council, NSW Government, Jagun Alliance, Lismore City Council, Northern Rivers Healing Hub, OzFish Unlimited; Border Ranges Richmond Valley Landcare Network, BushFruits Landcare, Wilsons River Landcare, Richmond Landcare Inc., Wardell Core, Namabunda Farm, Southern Cross University, Revive the Northern Rivers, Rous County Council, Richmond Valley Council, Living Lab Northern Rivers, Positive Change for Marine Life, and the newly formed Brunswick Riverkeepers.
The lands and waterways of the Richmond Catchment and beyond, are the unceded territories of the peoples of the Bundjalung and Githabul Nations.
We pay our respects to their Ancestors, who cared for Country since time began, and to all communities of the Bundjalung and Githabul Nations, to all Traditional Custodians, who continue to speak and care for their Country and Water.
