Waterway processes in action: Shannon Brook upper catchment field trip

WED, 30 Sept, Bingeebeebra Creek and Simpkins Creek

Join Kyogle Council and Alluvium Consulting on a field trip in the upper Richmond River catchment, visiting two sites that demonstrate contrasting waterway management issues typical within the upper catchment area and explore why it matters and potential management options. It will give attendees a practical understanding of river processes and what types and scale of intervention can provide tangible outcomes for waterway health at a local and catchment scale.

The field trip may be of interest to anyone wanting to better understand river processes and anyone interested in river rehabilitation approaches.

Registrations essential!
